文獻摘要：In this work, we propose a golf training system using real-time visual feedback. The system projects the virtual shadow of the user on the ground in front of the user; this shadow provides feedback to the user without form collapse. Additionally, an expert’s contour is overlaid on the virtual shadow of the user to make them aware of the difference between their form and that of the expert. In this system, the user can receive feedback with a fixed face orientation according to the actual golf swing; such feedback cannot be realized in systems projecting feedbacks on a wall. Moreover, by imitating the shadows already used in conventional golf training, the cost of adaptation to this training system can be reduced.

文獻摘要:  This article discusses art’s potential in outer space through a dialogue between European and Russian avant-garde traditions, and the postgravity art project by Dragan Živadinov, Dunja Zupančič and Miha Turšič. They enact a 50-year theater performance, Noordung:: 1995–2045, with the help of high tech, Suprematism and Constructivism. The performance is based on five replays every 10 years with the same actors and on technological substitutes of the deceased. The project has several topical theoretical implications. The author explores its key philosophical aspects and presents new potentialities for a systemic cognitive model for image and space conceptual transformations within the context of contemporary art and aesthetics.

[pain]Byte is looks at the world of chronic pain. The invisible disability of spinal chronic pain which is manifested and represented through data driven dance (classical ballet) and virtual reality (VR). Enabling the non sufferer audience to ‘see’ the hidden nature and challenges of chronic pain linked to the benefits of biomedical engineering and implanted technology. The body as analogue represented through the digital of the wearables and the virtual in the VR experience. Humanising implanted technology and exposing the invisible nature of chronic pain for audiences. In our exhibit, people can watch the VR, interact with the biometric sensors and our single Kinect motion capture. A recording of the ballet will be projected.

Nostalgia: A human -machine transliteration

文獻摘要:Nostalgia is an installation that draws attention to the computational challenges of understanding human emotion. Through affective computing and machine learning, the underlying system attempts to translate the components of the sentiment’s qualitative makeup in quantitative terms. In Nostalgia, participants are asked to submit text-based memories, which are then used to calculate, predict and ultimately visualize relative nostalgia scores based on the aggregate of stories collected. However, given the ambiguities and complexity of human self-expression and the necessary precision of computational intelligence, Nostalgia highlights the entanglements of achieving emotional understanding between humans and machines. 聞內容的主角,其文字內容則取自網路中較熱門的新聞,如此的錯置處理後,參與者經由投幣啓動流程,經由攝影及列印後,一張假新聞即被產出,以類似的邏輯創作電視牆,由youtube截取畫面,再由
Blog截取文字,這兩種不同的媒體管道與不同的媒材做錯置,使其文不對題,考驗著參與者的知覺.

本論文的研究對象為顧廣毅的系列創作《陰莖口交改造計畫》，此計畫利用牙醫學與組織工程等科技，進行了一系列關於男同志的身體改造想像。筆者欲將分析與研究創作者許多關於「藝術與科學」的跨領域生產方法。在生物藝術、預測性設計等不同領域的脈絡之下，去觀察《陰莖口交改造計畫》的實踐形式所處的位置。同時也會從文化研究的角度去思考《陰莖口交改造計畫》，將此作品與相關的視覺理論、精神分析理論、酷兒理論連結，去詮釋與分析《陰莖口交改造計畫》中的酷兒與虐戀實踐。創作者在這個計畫中試圖去擾動資本主義社會下僵化的人文與科學的學術系統，並且藉由創作中對男同志追求性快感的刻劃去與當代醫學中父權結構下的異性戀霸權體制對話。不管是在「藝術與科學」領域還是酷兒研究領域，《陰莖口交改造計畫》都試圖提供在創作與研究上新的可能性。
本論文分成三大章，第一章主要在描述《陰莖口交改造計畫》的創作細節，尤其是針對其科學實驗與醫學手術設計的描寫，藉由對於此系列作品在科學研究上的理解，去考察這樣跨域創作的方法。為了更深入地探索《陰莖口交改
造計畫》穿梭於藝術與科學的方法論，第二章將回溯世界各地相關的「藝術與科學」作品，並建立一個生物藝術的分類系統，利用此系統去觀察《陰莖口交改造計畫》與其他作品的相對關係，同時在這樣的分析之下去推敲藝術與科學領域合作的價值所在。第三章則是將《陰莖口交改造計畫》系列作品與相關的視覺理論、精神分析理論以及酷兒理論，透過分析作品中的視覺型態去探討作品中男同志族群的情慾結構，以及作品中所蘊含的酷兒精神。

在此波物聯網的浪潮中，物件將逐漸被賦予複雜的運算功能，至此「物－人」關係也將被重新定義，傳統著重於使用為者中心之設計框架將可能受到限制，互動設計派典中開始出現了新的推測轉向，即物件將不僅止於服膺於人的需求，更可能成為人類社交生活中的行動者。因此如何建構物主體之設計將成為一新興議題，在過往的研究中已有不少學者提出體現能動性方法，諸如運用泛靈論或角色的隱喻等，在此本研究試圖探究在能動性頻譜中具有較低能動性的設計可能：植物性，通過現象學研究方法，邀請參與者進行互動設計物與植物學理論的詮釋接合，以六件實際互動設計作品以及植物學名詞的註記與詮釋工作，還原出具有潛力的植物性的意向及中介知識，再經由透過設計做研究，製作能夠部署至居家空間中的設計物：植物性印表機，來汲取體驗中的實徵資料，最後透過設計師對資料的意義解讀，用以理解植物性更深入的潛在意涵。

文獻名稱：音樂美學運用於物件創作-以樂曲Reflection進行燈具設計

音樂為人們帶來無限的想像力和樂趣，其蘊含的美學不僅能做為情緒溝通的媒介，也進一步啟發其他類型的創作。身為設計創作者，是否也能承接作曲家的意志，藉由具象化音樂作品中客觀的形式，產生物件創作的構想，並傳達出共通的情感內容呢？
本創作藉由理解音樂美學，探討具象化音樂作品美感的可能性。並分析現有物中存在的音樂美感，確立物件創作的發展方向。以在觀賞者心中喚起與創作者共通的情緒為目的，提出「轉化音樂美感至物件創作中」的實驗性創作手法。
為探討此實驗性創作手法的可行性，本創作選定極簡音樂作品reflection為轉化對象，發展出系列燈具作品「悠倚」，做為創作手法的設計範例。並規劃展演呈現，在過程中搜集觀賞者針對物件作品的感官回饋，做為此實驗性創作手法結論、延伸發展可能的參考。
